ますたくです！

今回は「ますたく的年表の後編」で少し触れた

南北朝鮮戦争

この戦争についてお話したいと思います。

ますたく的年表をまだご覧になってない方は下の記事も合わせてみて見てください。

南北朝鮮戦争

時は50年代、ロックンロールと大戦後浮き足立つ華々しい世界の裏側でこんな事も起こっていました。

“南北朝鮮戦争”

1950年から53年まで続いた南北朝鮮で行われた現在でも休戦中の戦争です。

前回の記事で書かせて頂いた、国際連合の常任理事国がここで出てきます。

冷戦

前回も言いましたが、

 

アメリカとソ連・中国って仲悪いよな〜？

なのに常任理事国で大丈夫？

 

世論の予想通りやっぱりそこの間で摩擦が生じてしまうんです。

それを皆さんご存知“冷戦“と呼びます。

西側自由主義陣営(米・英・仏)　VS 東側社会主義陣営(露・中)

国民それぞれに責任があり、自由競争のできる資本主義と国が責任を取ってくれる代わりに自由の無い社会主義。

ただ冷戦って授業で習うのは”アメリカとソ連が軍事的な戦争を行わず牽制をしあう事ですよ〜“とざっくり先生から説明を受けたと思います。

授業の近代世界史なんてほんの一部分しか勉強しないんです。

これは何故なのか？

当時学生だった僕は不思議に思っていました。

戦争はいけないもの。

それは勿論そうです。

ただ何故戦争は起こるのか？

何故戦争をしなければいけなかったのか？

それを授業で教えてくれないのもアメリカの陰謀かもしれないですけどね…
※CIAに消される可能性があるのでこの辺で…

 

それを知る事ってとても大事だと思うんです。

その”冷たい戦争”をしている２つの国が直接殴りあわず様々な戦場・産業・開発で間接的に殴り合うんです。

その一つが南北朝鮮戦争というわけです。

朝鮮の分断

第二次世界大戦後、満州(元日本の領土)に侵攻したソ連軍に朝鮮半島を掌握されるのを恐れたアメリカは北緯38度線を境に南北朝鮮をそれぞれの統治下にする事を提案しました。

これをソ連側が受け入れ北はソ連、南はアメリカが統治をする事が決定しました。

しかしこの一件で納得しない国が一つあります。

朝鮮半島です。

1910年代から続く日本の植民地からやっと解放されたのに許可もなく自分たちの国に国境が引かれ同じ民族を分断されました。

ドイツも東西で分断されましたが、自ら戦争の中心となっていたドイツとは訳が違います。

勿論、朝鮮半島の人々は反発しました。

しかしアメリカもソ連もその意見を聞こうとはしません。

なぜなら“自らの政治的思想を広げたい”という思惑が両国共にあったからです。

そして北側をソ連が、南側をアメリカが統治する事になりました。

そのまま時が進み1948年に韓国・北朝鮮としてそれぞれ独立国家となりました。

北朝鮮の武力行使

その2年後、当時北朝鮮の金日成が朝鮮半島統一を目指しソ連・中国の支援を受けて韓国に侵攻しました。

北朝鮮の思惑は侵略戦争ではなく、本来一つである朝鮮半島の統一を目指して戦争を始めました。

ただ本当は話し合いで解決したかった北朝鮮ですが、思想が違う両国は当然話し合っても意味が無く、軍事力の強かった北朝鮮が武力公使を選択したのがきっかけでした。

動き出すアメリカ

ここで黙っていないのはアメリカです。

アメリカが軍隊を韓国に派遣しました。

しかし北朝鮮の猛攻を止められずソウルは陥落。

あと一歩で韓国併合という所まで追い詰められてしまいました。

そこでアメリカは大戦後に設立された国際連合を利用して、北朝鮮の侵略戦争とみなして国連加盟国の多数決の元、イギリスなど20か国以上の加盟国を中心に国際連合軍を朝鮮半島へ派遣しました。

でもここで気になるのはなぜソ連と中国は反対しなかったのか？

それはそこで反対をしてしまうと侵略戦争に見過ごすことと同じだからです。
これは連合加盟国の立場を危うくすることに繋がり兼ねません。

ここで世界を敵に回す程、頭は悪くなかったんですよね〜…

※ちなみにソ連は安全保障理事会は欠席しています。
アメリカが中国・朝鮮半島に目を向けている間にヨーロッパの共産主義を強化する為の時間稼ぎにつなげる目論みがあったと言われています。

そうすると北朝鮮が一気に形成が不利になり瞬く間に逆転されてしまい、中国の国境付近まで押し込まれてしまいます。

 

中国の「義勇軍」

 

そこで中国は”義勇軍”と称して軍隊を北朝鮮に派遣します。

それって侵略戦争に加勢するって事じゃないの？

誰もが思う意見だと思います。

しかしここで中国が派遣したのが“義勇軍”

あくまで中国政府が派遣した物ではなく、国民の勇姿が立ち上がって勝手に参戦したんですよ？
と小賢しい理由を付けて参戦したのです。

ソ連は武器や訓練などで支援をし、秘密裏でパイロットを派遣したとも言われています。

なぜソ連は直接戦争に参加しなかったのか？

それは同盟国であった中国が戦争の参加にノリノリだったからです。

当時中国のトップであった毛沢東はソ連のトップであるスターリンにとても敬意を表していました。

簡単に言うと毛沢東は”スターリンさん、僕たちの勇姿見ててくださいね！”と彼女が応援に来ているサッカーの試合くらい張り切っていました。

そしてソ連は自ら手を出すと自国の国民を大量に失ったり報復として自国の領土を攻撃される恐れがあったので表舞台は中国に任せました。

中国の参戦により北朝鮮は勢いを取り戻し、また38度線付近まで押し返しました。

 

マッカーサーの登場

 

なんで中国が参加してきたんだ？
そう声を大にしていた人物がアメリカ軍最高司令官のマッカーサーでした。

1945年に撮影された１枚。

怒り狂ったマッカーサーは当時の大統領だったトルーマンの意向を無視し、”中国を叩きのめす”という声明を大統領の許可を得ず自らの判断で発令しました。

そして極め付けは大統領に原子爆弾の使用、中国本土への攻撃を提言しました。

それを聞いたトルーマン大統領はソ連を刺激し第三次世界大戦・核戦争の危険性を感じた為、マッカーサーを解任しました。

その当時は両国共に休戦を模索している段階だった為、マッカーサーの暴走はアメリカとしては許せない行為だったのです。

休戦のきっかけ

そんな中、膠着状態が続き、戦争は泥沼化していきました。

戦死者が増える一方で、ただただ両国は疲弊しきっていました。

そこで北朝鮮の最高指導者である金日成が中国の毛沢東、ソ連のスターリンに休戦をしませんか？という提案をしました。

しかし休戦＝敗戦と感じた中・ソ2人の指導者はその提案を拒否。

そのまま戦争が続いていきました。

そこで戦争が終わる事きっかけとなった大きな出来事が起こります。

“スターリンの死”

ソ連の独裁者スターリンが死んだ事によって、独裁制が終わり複数政治体制をするように国の方針が変わりました。

休戦に前向きだったソ連の幹部達は休戦をする旨を北朝鮮・中国に伝え休戦をする方向で解決しました。

そして1953年に北緯38度線を国境とし休戦協定が結ばれました。

こうして約3年に及ぶ南北朝鮮戦争は幕を閉じました。

最後に

 

朝鮮戦争の話がだいぶ長くなってしまいましたが、複雑な代理戦争なんですよね…

各国の思惑が混じり合った人間の醜く、汚い部分が色濃く映し出されている戦争の一つです。
